What is CoAdvocate.ai?

CoAdvocate.ai is a permanent, secure communication address for separated and divorced parents, plus an AI companion that helps you respond to co-parent messages with clarity and composure. It's built on standard email — no app required on the other end.

Does the other parent need to install anything?

No. Your co-parent sends email to your CoAdvocate.ai address from whatever email client they already use. They don't need to sign up, install an app, or agree to anything. The only requirement is on your end.

How is my CoAdvocate.ai address different from a regular email?

Your address is permanent and never recycled — even if you close your account. It's purpose-built for co-parenting communication: every message is archived as a timestamped, legal-grade record, assessed for tone by the AI, and kept separate from your personal email. It's the address courts and attorneys can reference with confidence.

Is my communication private?

Your messages are encrypted in transit and at rest, and your data is not used to train AI models. We don't sell your data or share it for external marketing; we share it only with the subprocessors needed to run the Service — for AI features, Anthropic, Voyage AI, and AWS Textract; for hosting and billing, AWS, Stripe, and RevenueCat. Like any service, we may disclose data when required by law — for example, a valid subpoena or court order. Separately, by design we keep your private conversations with the AI companion out of your evidence export and don't surface them to your attorney through CoAdvocate.ai. Can my attorney access my communication record?

Yes, with your permission. You can grant an attorney, mediator, or other professional scoped access to your CoAdvocate.ai record. That access is strictly limited to your data and can be revoked at any time.

What does "evidence-grade" mean?

It means the archive is timestamped and tamper-evident: within the app, neither you nor your co-parent can alter or delete a message once it's sent. If you ever need to demonstrate a pattern of behavior in a legal proceeding, the record is already organized and verifiable.

How does the AI companion work?

When a message arrives, the companion reads it for tone, urgency, and intent. It gives you a summary before you read the full message, so you can approach it with context. When you're ready to reply, it helps you draft a response that's calm and factual — you edit and approve everything before it's sent.

How long are companion conversations kept?

Your private conversations with the companion are automatically deleted after a window you choose — 48 hours to 7 days, with a 48-hour default. They're a space to process, not a record you keep. By design, we also keep them out of your evidence export and don't surface them to your attorney through CoAdvocate.ai — but they aren't legally privileged, and if a court compels it they could be discoverable.

When will I get access?

CoAdvocate.ai is open for new accounts. You can create yours now — head to the app and sign up. Nothing is required from your co-parent.

How much does it cost?

Pricing details will be announced when we exit beta. During the beta, access is free.
